More Info
Cameron Jordan was born on July 10, 1989 to Anita and Steve Jordan. If Cameron's father's name rings a bell it's because Steve was himself a standout football player. He competed at Brown and went on to 13 years with the Minnesota Vikings. Steve Jordan was also selected to the Pro Bowl an impressive six times.
Though Cameron has big shoes to fill, he's making strides. During his high school career at Chandler High School in Chandler, Arizona, Cameron Jordan was recognized by Rivals.com as the eighth-best recruit in Arizona and the 37th-best defensive end.
In 2007, Cameron Jordan played with the Cal Bears as a true freshman. He played in all 13 games and recorded 18 tackles. Most importantly, he won the Cal Bears football team's Bob Tessier Award as its Most Improved Defensive Lineman.
2008 saw Cameron Jordan recovering a key fumble and making some adept moves on the field. 2009 should be even better for this up-and-comer. Catch a game live by buying your Cal Bears tickets today!
