Incoming freshman, JP Hurrell, hails from San Mateo, California. As a student and athlete at Junipero Serra High School, he recorded had 291 yards rushing and two touchdowns his senior year.

Rivals.com put JP Hurrell as the 83rd best prospect in California. He was also ranked the 47th best linebacker in the U.S.

The honors don't stop there! JP Hurrell was also chosen for the All-Far West team. That ranking came from the reputable source, SuperPrep Magazine. He is also considered to be a three-star prospect.
