Marc Anthony was born on November 14, 1989 and grew up in Chandler, Arizona. At Chandler High School, Marc Anthony made a name for himself on the football squad. He made 77 tackles, four interceptions and 1 sack during his senior season.

Marc Anthony earned four stars from Rivals.com and three from Scout.com. Rivals.com put him as the 4th best overall prospect in Arizona. Marc Anthony was chosen for the All-Far West team by SuperPrep. He was a first-team All-State pick and earned a chance to compete on the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl in Miami.

In 2008, Marc Anthony redshirted. In 2009, hr played in 9 games but didn't record any stats.
